Pray for Ezra

Hey y'all,

Just a quick post here.

We are in Cook Childrens Hospital now and just waiting for the nurse practitioner to come get us and take us to the heart surgery waiting area. I had to stop feeding Ezra at 5am to get him ready but thankfully he's sound asleep in his daddy's arms right now. Makes me think of how God tells us to have faith like a child. Ezra's trust is in us and he's able to sleep peacefully in his daddy's arms while he awaits to have heart surgery. No stress, no worry, just sleepin away. We are to be the same and rest in Gods arms. Also reminds me of when Jesus fell asleep in the boat while the storm raged all around. Then he simply rebuked the wind and spoke peace. How powerful our words are when we align our hearts and thoughts with heaven. So right now we ask you join us in speaking peace all around us and rebuking any fear or worry the enemy would blow our way. Yesterday during pre-op, a dr and several nurses kept telling me id be a nervous wreck and stress ball because that's the normal thing to do. Well, I guess we aren't the norm! Although I hate that Ezra has to go through this and very sad for him, we stand with inner peace knowing our God is in control and always with us to bring healing and comfort whatever we go through. This morning I take comfort as Papa God speaks this to our hearts...

Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, " Here I am. ' Isaiah 58:8-9

Thank y'all for praying for us. Expectant to see the power and presence of Jesus in every step of the way. We already have felt his love and comfort in the waiting now. Love y'all.
