Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope you all are enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving and finding much to be thankful for.  I figured this was my last day to post pumpkin pictures according to the unwritten mommy laws :).  The week we arrived here, Elisha started school in a local private christian pre-k.  He jumped into American culture right off and did pretty well with it.  His teacher said you would of never known it was his first week.  He is in a little class of 10 (i think?).  It's been a great thing for him to be involved in until we go back to Kenya.  So the first week his class also had a field trip to a pumpkin patch.  Claire and I tagged along and had a good time.  Great fall photo opportunity!  (although i could not get the setting right on my camera, gotta take some lessons, don't judge Dalene and Phil!  Hey at least its an orange tint to them, it goes with the theme, ha.)

"The End!"
(there are still some cultural changes we gotta work on... like here, taking your clothes off is bad.  We're not in the African bush bush Claire!)

A few things we are thankful for today in no particular order:  Family, Grandparents, running water, consistent power, a big yummy meal to share with friends and family, friends and family in Kenya, milk that taste good, a warm bed to sleep in, the Caldwells, shoes on our feet (Claire would say her new pink sparkly shoes), our Garden church family, drive through chickfila, trustworthy Dr for baby, healthy growing baby #3, those that have continued to sponsor our Mattaw babies, CHRISTY :-), coffee and use of a keurig, our own space to stay in while here, a vehicle to use while here, more than enough for our every need, living out our destiny and the mandate on our heart... and ALL of this listed because of Jesus, above and beyond thankful that He chose us and we responded.  Thank you God for this day and all we have to be thankful for!

That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,
And tell of all Your wondrous works.
Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house,
And the place where Your glory dwells.
Psalm 26:7-8
