Update on children

Check out how cute and chubby Claire is getting! I'm in denial that she will be two months on Sunday! AH! I guess not total denial since I am mentioning it here. But geeze time is just flying. I'm enjoying every moment I can with her. The past week, she has gotten on a better schedule. The colic stuff seems to be going away. Not completely though. Hopefully by May 10th it'll be gone, would you please pray that for her? She'll fuss from about 9 or 10pm until 11 or 12 on most nights. Then when she finally falls asleep, she has been sleeping anywhere from 6-9 hours at one time! This is amazing.

We got another update from Humphrey on how the Mattaw kiddos are doing. I'll show pictures first...

My little, OH so sweet pea

We found a bumbo seat next door and tried it out. She likes it! But would get tired pretty quick and put her head down. I'm really not sure what age you are supposed to put them in this seat at???

And of course little man had to try it out

Elisha is so precious with Claire. He likes to play patty cake with her hands and feet.

Sweet little feet

Yesterday we had a surprise visit from one of Eli's best friends, Sophie. (and her mom, Lauren, which happens to be a close friend of mine too ;) )

I didn't think to put clothes on him for a cute picture until they stopped being so cute

So I got clothes on Elisha and the only pictures I got were him attacking, I mean, play wrestling with Sophie. He didn't quite get that she is a sweet little girl. Not sure how he missed the flower in the hair and cute little dress. Boys. But overall they play great together!

And here is the update from Humphrey, our social worker. I like how he describes the children and how they are doing...

Morning people, hope you guys are doing okay. We guys are doing good and we're so grateful that God has taken care of us,,,,,thanks for your prayers they've done us good. All the kids are very okay,no serious sickness have been reported since Geoffrey was in hospital. He is now very okay,i wish you saw: he is a happy guy, very happy. Daisy is growing big and beautiful, the other day i was telling her she's eating with the blind . Her and Maurine are growing to be very responsible girls, and Maurine is always smiles though at times she becomes a tough, iron lady.our Hillary Clinton. Sharon is still the hyper lady you left around,,,she's now friends with Nelima always helping her. Prepare to be jumped on when you come around because she ll have to, remember she's bigger than you left her. Grace is much taller and stronger, her language has really improved. Nelima is all smiles as usual, her hair is growing long. Juma is
amazing, he works! He reminds me of Bud,a workaholic.... Johnny our quiet guy has been very healthy, never any complaints from him, he now goes to the field to play football with others. Sister Eunice is still the most friendly girl to the visitors, she'll always receive them with a big smile or loud laugh. Japhta is improving in terms of football, the guys is athletic. I hope he becomes a great guy in the fields and represent Christ from there. Gideon, the guy with the whitest teeth in Mattaw...he tries to play the game but i think he is a book guy: let him do for exercise purposes,ha ha ha! Rose(saida),,,is becoming louder. She looks for George immediately when she arrives in the house. George didn't like it at first, but he now likes it. She is to house2 (entertainer),what Geoffrey is to house1. Pauline has never stopped smiling. Noah is just too talkative, you can t believe this Kim, the guy sings. Hope he'll one day be an artist. Aaron is bigger and stronger, he's no longer the small boy. He has this innocent look to him all the time.what s that? That s Jose s new name, and that how he introduced himself to the chief when he went to their class.the guy has really bonded with Nehemiah Grace and Eric.you ll always find them together doing an activity. Kevin is growing big and his english has really improved. Sophie has settled down she s not absent-minded as she used to. Jennipher is always willing to be send with a smile on her face. Mercy s smiles are now frequent, remember it used to be hard to make her do that. Alex is fine,he doesn't cry a lot like he used. We thank God for the changes taking place. Hope my phone has send this. I tried sending the other one it cut some information.bye.

What a blessing to hear all of this!

Please also pray for me. I got an infection yesterday from nursing. For some reason the antibiotics that were called in last night, didn't go through, so I spent the night in a lot of pain. Got it taken care of today though. It's supposed to clear up in 24 hrs. I was reading up about it, and imagine, it says one of the reasons women get it could be because they're very busy and stressed. Urgh. So if I'm not going to slow myself down, then this sure will do it! Made me put some things in check. And the quickest way to recover is by resting, sleeping, and not going anywhere. Dang! This is our last full week here in San Angelo so you can only imagine how much we're trying to get done. But you don't have to tell me to rest today, it's pretty much the only thing on my check list to do. And I'm so thankful for an amazing husband to help out around the house with the kids today. Please pray for QUICK recovery!

Much love,
Kimberly
