2-19-08

Typing in the date for the title of this post seems unreal. Is it really the 19th? This morning we got up and Bud was rushing me to get to a meeting we had, only to find out it's tomorrow morning! So we just laughed and go on with our day. We actually immediately went to get coffee, we need it! Last night we went out to Peaster, TX. It's a little town not far from Weatherford. This is where Bud grew up most of his life and graduated high school. He hadn't been back in a few years. He spoke to the youth group at the church he used to go to. It was great for him to get to go back and speak to a group where he used to sit and think his life was normal and God couldn't use him to do things beyond himself. He was able to encourage them that they're never too young to make a difference in the world and to have dreams from God that are bigger than them. This time was unlike most times where only Bud spoke and I got to sit back and listen and pray for him. It was great to listen to him speak his heart and let the Lord use him to speak to the youth. Tonight we'll be having dinner with the pastor from Brock, and his family. Tomorrow night we're speaking at FBC Keller so if you're around, come! Linda and I (well mostly Linda) will be making some chapati's! Here's some pictures from when we were in San Angelo a few weeks ago...
