The Call

Well here's a blog all about The Call. It was a wonderful day that I believe the Lord got His glory from. I was personally refreshed from the inside out. We mostly were there to cry out for revival to come to Kenya but also were there to support our friends Daniel and Marlies in their vision for Kenya and revival amongst the youth. The Call is a full day, from 8am to 6pm, where there is a "call" to pray and fast for revivial. The verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14 was said throughout the day that says 'if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, i will hear their prayer and heal their land'. The week before the call four different people that didn't know each other all had the same dream that a baby was born with revivial written on the fore head. There was a lot of repentance, worship, prayer, falling to our knees, and just lovin on Jesus. It was a beautiful day physically and spiritually. Hopefully some of you saw it on God TV! Let us know if you did!

This is a description of Kenya off The Call website (http://www.thecall.co.ke/):

The nation of Kenya is situated right at the equator in East Africa, bordered by Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda and Tanzania. Kenya is an extremely multi-faceted country, in nature as well as in culture with a population of approximately 35 million. Though English and Swahili are the official languages Kenya boasts of a wealth of 54 different tribes each with their own languages and dialects.
TheCall Kenya will be a historic event as God quickens the hearts of thousands of Kenyans to seek Him in corporate prayer. TheCall international is well renowned for calling thousands to a solemn assembly of fasting and prayer and now for the first time in Africa; TheCall Kenya will rally thousands of people to cry out to God for revival in this region.
Here's the back of the shirts... It took place at Nyayo stadium in Nairobi...

Here is before it started. All us white people greeting each other. If you look closely there's a man in a black long sleeve collard shirt, thats Wes Campbell. It was a privelege to meet him.
Here's the stage... Leading worship at this time was Rich from the UK...

Here's our friend Joylin. She's the one that lives up at the love mercy compound. She was coming out every Saturday and doing some training with our house parents on ministering to children. She was teaching the children at the Fireplace church here in Kitale and got a group of them to The Call. The children were very involved the day of The Call. She is with Global Childrens Movement based out of California. ( i wasnt being unloving by not hugging her back in this picture... it was freezin! well not really actually since its Kenya... but it was cold! then i got a sun burn in the afternoon)

Here are some of the children in the morning worshiping Jesus... SO beautiful!

There was about 20 kids that came. Here's the youngest of the bunch, Samantha. She easily won over everyone's heart.
I bet yall didn't know Bud has a brother from Holland! Here is Bud with Daniel. He and his wife Marlies are the ones that put together The Call. Please pray for them for much rest and peace now that The Call is over. They have spent the last 6 months living in Nairobi to put this together. It was a lot of work and they gave it their all. Marlies is 7 months pregnant now!

Here is Hollie and Maina... he is Hollie's "friend". Maina works for Ryan (love mercy), the ministry that did our bore hole.
Woohoo! Healin!

On stage... Rich, Daniel, Sean Bolts and one of the girls from the Fireplace praying

That's it for now. I have SOO many pictures to share, and that I finally can share! So many more picture updates to come this week! Jim Farmer went out door to door in the villages surrounding our property today. He went with Isaac, our house dad. There are some amazing stories and salvations! Praise the Lord. It's always so encouraging to have him around and watch how closely he walks with the Lord.
Much love,
Kimberly

Hey Kimberly,

So I finally looked at your blog. You would be proud of me! hahaha. It's funny, I just had a flashback of how before I was there I would constantly be on the computer looking at what you guys were doing. I liked the pictures from TheCall and the ones of the kids and the ones of Elisha and the one of you and Bud running. You could totally be in the Runner's World magazine. Anyways, I love you. I miss you. I'll see you soon.
