Happy Birthday Elisha!

If you haven't read the post below, read that first. It's more about ministry and life around here but this one goes all to my baby boy. We had a small group over for cake, cookies, watermelon and punch. Then all the kids played on the trampoline. Elisha of course didn't really know what was going on. That morning we went to church which meant no morning nap. Needless to say he was a bit cranky at first. There's a girl around our age that lives down the street and takes care of 9 orphans. They all came over. Also our day guards little girls and a few missionary families.

I made the cake the day before. Its a dinasour if you cant tell. I found this sack full of cake stuff left from the missionaries that lived in the house before us.

It didn't take long for him to figure out he could get messy and eat with his hands. He had a sugar rush the rest of the afternoon.

He loved watermelon. It was a beautiful and perfect day for it. (quite the oposite of the U.S. right now?)

Its my party and i'll cry if I want to!!!! We had our moments of crankyness

He looks so big! He's growin way too fast.

Here's Ian riding Hollies bike. He wants a bike SO bad. Its a secret, but we're getting him one for christmas. He is doing great. He helps out around the house and has learned great manners. He proudly told us he can read and write well now. Some days he'll go out to Mattaw and play with the children there. He just herds them around and is a big brother to them all. They adore him. He's the "cool" big brother.
